These research-based, ready-to-use curricula set 4-H Afterschool apart and help young people to achieve social, emotional, physical, and academic success. Each curriculum provides youth with valuable skills such as leadership, collaboration, decision-making, civic responsibility, and critical thinking.

The innovative "learn-by-doing" curricula 4-H offers cover an impressive array of topics, including, CItizenship and Civic Education, Communication and Expressive Arts, Consumer and Family Science, Environmental Education and Earth Science, Healthy Lifestyle Education, Personal Development and Leadership, Plants and Animals, Science and Technology

Afterschool at Southside

Next Meeting December 10th
The Washington State University Mason County Extension Offce will be offering 4-H Afterschool at least one Wednesday per month in the gym.

The program will meet from 2:45 - 5:00 pm. The 4-Hers will be doing a variety of crafts during the year and will begin with making their own journals.

POSITION OPENING
PART TIME ASSISTANT FOR AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
WSU Mason County Extension 4-H Program is looking for a part-time Teacher Aide for our After School ProgramThis is a part time position, approximately 6-8 hours per week for the school year. 

This person will work with elementary aged youth from Evergreen, Bordeaux and Mt. View Schools as part of the 4-H After School Program on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-5:30.  Also at Southside School one Wednesday from 2:45 to 5:00.

Knowledge of the 4-H program is helpful but not required.Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

Applicant must have transportation and have good driving record. All applicants must also pass a WSP background check.
